Kalavai town is historically significant for the Sankara Matam and Kottai Koil (Fort Temple) which were built in early 1900. The temple of Siva is quite famous during the days of Pournami (the full moon day) every month and the town is been situated with many temples nearby and there are separate Government Higher Secondary Schools for Boys and Girls, which is a basic requirement for any upcoming towns. There are direct bus facilities to major cities like Chennai, Bangalore etc. This town is 20 km from Arcot and 45 km from Kanchipuram , the Sub-registrar Office ,Fire Station, Police Station , Banks with ATM centre are all situated at a distance of 100 meters near the bus stand

Kalavai town is just 3 Km from our Layout and 2 Km away from Adhiparasakthi Educational campus , which is spread over an area of 1300 acres, with Engineering, Education, Agriculture, Horticulture and Arts & Science divisions which are already running in the campus. Due to this educational campus the floating population of this area increases day to day.-->
